IN THE PASSO GIAU

Passo Giau, dominated by the majestic Ra Gusela, was packed with photographers and tourists, making it a challenge to find a clean spot for a tripod. After a long search, I finally composed the shot through blooming rhododendrons, which added great depth alongside the winding switchbacks below and the setting sun. As soon as darkness fell, we headed down to the car and crashed immediately to save some energy for the sunrise.
